COMMENCEMENT OF NESPAM Portal

The Agency has commenced the full implementation of the NESREA Permit, Audit and Management (NESPAM) Platform from 31^st August, 2021. As you are aware, the NESPAM platform is a web based system that enables Consultants and Companies (Facilities) to enroll and apply for Environmental Permits or submit EAR/EMP.

This portal aims at operationalizing an efficient processing of documents for stakeholders within the regulatory domain of NESREA, contribute towards trade facilitation as well as comply with the Federal Executive order on the Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria.

Within this framework, the activities successfully automated include:

1. Permitting and Licensing Application for Facilities;
2. Environmental Consultants Registration/Accreditation and Renewal/ Certification;
3. Environmental Audit Report Submission, Review and Issuance of Certificate;
4. Environmental Management Plan Submission, Review and Issuance of Certificate.

In view of the forgoing, Accredited consultants and companies are to note that the Agency shall no longer accept hard copies of the Permit and EAR/EMP effective 31^st August 2021.
