Inappropriate and inadequate regulations for the protection of our environment constitute a major challenge to socio-economic development. The Federal Government through NESREA has developed the following Environmental Regulations to address the various environmental challenges facing the Nation.The Regulations are:

These Regulations are to ensure that our national development agenda is not at variance with the carrying capacity of our fragile environment.
